JAWALAMUKHI-----Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh while addressing public meetings at Bari-Kalan, Dola-Khariyana and Thill in Changar area of Khundiaan in Jawalamukhi constituency today announced upgradation of Veterinary Dispensary Thill to Veterinary Hospital and construction of link roads from Thill to Chalol, Bharoli, Bangal, Kandi and Sanghiyar. He also announced laying foundation stone of additional accommodation of GSSS, Thill to be constructed at a cost of Rs.97 lakh.While speaking at Bari-Kalan, the Chief Minister announced construction of link Road to village Langha, link road up to the house of freedom fighter Shri Shoba Singh via Hanuman temple, link roads to village Touru, Balh-Bassin, Bari-Khurd, Lahrrian and village Gharbed.
He said that State government was committed for overall development of the State and had ensured transparency in working. The government had fulfilled, rather had gone beyond the promises made in the election manifesto, which was adopted as a policy document, he said.
Shri Virbhadra Singh said that the priority of the government was to pay added attention for the backward and remote areas of the State and the government won't leave any stone unturned for achieving the left out works in far- flung and remote areas.Earlier, the Chief Minister laid foundation stones of Staff Quarters of PHC Dola Kharyana and additional building of Government Senior Secondary School, Dola-Kharyana to cost of Rs.92 lakh. He laid foundation stone of additional accommodation of GSSS Bari-Kalan to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 95.49 lakh and announced laying foundation stone of Bridge on Drug Khad to cost Rs. 92 lakh. MLA Shri Sanjay Rattan apprised the Chief Minister about development undertaken during the present government’s regime in Changar area of his constituency. He urged the Chief Minister for concrete road from Bari-Kalan to Mahadev and construction of link roads.Vice-Chairman, Freedom Fighters Welfare Board Shri Sushil Rattan, Chairman, APMC, Hamirpur, Shri Prem Kaushal and other senior leaders of the Congress Party and senior officers of the district was present on the occasion.
