NISHANT ARYA IS CII HARYANA STATE COUNCIL CHAIRMAN

 Executive Director, JBM Group, Mr Nishant Arya, has been elected chairperson of CII Haryana State Council for 2017-18. Mr Jasmohan Singh, MD, Frick India Ltd, has been elected Vice-Chairman of the Council. CII Northern Region Chairperson Mrs Rumjhum Chatterjee also announced the setting up of a special Task Force on Ease of Doing Business while addressing CII Haryana membership during a panel discussion on ‘Realizing Make in India by Building Competitiveness, Fostering Industry-Academia Connect’ at Gurugram today in the presence of industry Rao Narbir Singh, Hon’ble Minister of PWD, Government of Haryana, industry captains and Vice-Chancellors of YMCA University, Munjal Global University, Manav Rachna University, NIT Kurukshetra.

 

The newly-elected Haryana State Council also announced the setting up of a special task force to be chaired by Mr Harbhajan Singh, Senior Vice-President and Director, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Ltd.

The new Chairman of CII Haryana State Council Mr Nishant Arya is the Executive Director of JBM Group and on the Board of various Group companies, including Jay Bharat Maruti Limited, JBM Auto Ltd, Neel Metal Products Ltd., Neel Auto Private Limited, JBM Cadmium Private Ltd., JBM MA Automotive Pvt. Ltd, JBM Ogihara Automotive Pvt. Ltd., and JBM Kanemitsu Pulleys Private Limited. He is also the Chairman of Tesco Go SpA, Europe. He graduated in Business Administration from Bradford University, UK and further studies at the London School of Economics.

The incumbent Vice-Chairman Mr Jasmohan Singh is a B.Tech Electrical Engineering from the USA with a specialised course in Computer Engineering. He heads operations in manufacturing and sale within as well as outside India of Industrial Refrigeration & Central Air conditioning equipment. He has also served as the Vice-Chairman of India-USA Foundation for Industrial and Technology Collaboration. Speaking on the occasion, Rao Narbir Singh, Hon’ble Minister of PWD, Government of Haryana, said, "Industry should create job opportunities in Gurugram district to check unemployment in the region. The Government of Haryana is committed to do anything possible for the welfare of people and industries of the state.”
