Mr. Ramesh Aggarwal (73) Chairman of Bhaskar Group of Publication , father of Mr. Pawan Aggarwal, Mr. Sudhir Aggarwal and Gireesh Aggawal, passes away  in Ahmedabad after massive heart attack on Wednesday. Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Mr. Kanwar Pal Singh Rana today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Dainik Bhaskar Group Chairman Mr. Ramesh Chandra Agarwal . Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has expressed shock and grief at the sudden demise of Mr. Ramesh Chand Aggarwal, Chairman of the Bhaskar Group. Captain Amarinder said the media magnate’s death, following a massive heart attack while travelling in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on Wednesday morning, had left a void in the media industry. Mr. Aggarwal was a courageous professional, who had been at the helm of many impactful media initiatives in Punjab, the Chief Minister said in his condolence message.Captain Amarinder extended his sympathies to the bereaved family, saying no words of compassion were enough to help them bear this tragedy. He prayed to God to give them the fortitude to live through this difficult time.

Mr. Rana recalling the outstanding journalistic services rendered by Mr. Agarwal, who led the Dainik Bhaskar group for more than 4 decades, the speaker described his contribution to Indian media as unparalleled. He was also honoured with the Rajeev Gandhi Life time Achievement Award in Journalism.

Mr. Rana said that the demise of Mr. Agarwal has left a void in the annals of journalism which would be difficult to fill. Sharing his heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family members, friends and relatives, the Speaker prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the family members for bearing this irreparable loss.The Governing Body of the Chandigarh Press Club condoled the death of Ramesh Agarwal, Chairman of Dainik Bhaskar Group.

Meanwhile Chandigarh Press Club President Jaswant Rana and Secretary General Barinder Singh Rawat described the death of Ramesh Agarwal as a big loss to journalism.Secretary General, Barinder Singh Rawat, said Ramesh Agarwal’s contribution to the field of journalism is immense.On behalf of Chandigarh Press Club members, the Governing Body of Chandigarh Press Club also expressed heart-felt condolences to the members of the bereaved family.The Chairman of Dainik Bhaskar Group, Ramesh Agarwal passed away on Wednesday after a cardiac arrest. Agarwal was admitted to Apollo hospital in Ahmedabad where he took his last breath.Haryana State BJP Media In-charge, Mr. Rajiv Jain, has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise of Mr. Ramesh Chandra Agarwal. In a condolence message issued here today, Mr. Jain conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the members of the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty that the departed soul may rest in peace.Punjab BJP Ex-Chief Mr. Kamal Sharma, INLD chief Abhay Chautala and State President Mr. Ashok Arora also condole the sad demise of Mr. Aggarwal.
