RAMANDEEP SINGH FROM J & K SELECTED FOR INDIAN JUNIOR HOCKEY CAMP

Good News for J&K state people as well as India for the selection of Ramandeep Singh for Indian Junior Hockey Camp and in this regard hockey J&K organized An Important meeting of core group at KK Hakhu Stadium in Jammu, In which hon'ble Deputy Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly Nazir Ahmed Khan Gurezi presided over this meeting as a Chief Guest and also Raja Ghulam Nabi Wani was special guest, who accompanied with him.

 Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Speaker said that hockey is proud of the nation and that it is heartening to note the enthusiasm of the state's youth in the game. "I'm pleased to know about the selection of Ramandeep Singh, and he Congratulated him on his success, It is a matter of great pleasure and joy for J&k state as well as India. Our good wishes and blessings are with him and I wish that he may achieved new heights in his future, he added.

All the players in a meeting make an appeal to state government (J&K) to allocate the required for providing hockey "AstroTurf" at Polo Ground in Srinagar, for the provision of AstroTurf will help the hockey players, so that their sports talents could be developed in a better way, Mr. Gurezi assured them full support which will be required in this regard shall be provided them, so that the talent of the players may show their best performance in their field.

In the address of Mr. Gurdeep Singh, Secretary General Hockey J&K said that President of the International Hockey Federation Mr. Narinder Batra under his guidance and encouragement we hope that Hockey will be developed all over the world as well as India too and we hope for the bright future of hockey under the leadership of Narinder Batra, who generate passion among people so that hockey becomes as popular as soccer. Hockey J&K greets all hockey lovers and people of the J&K state as well as India for the success of Ramandeep Singh for his selection in Indian Junior Hockey Camp.Among others present were G. S Bakshi, Avtar Singh, Manjeet Singh, Raviraj Singh and Vinod Singh.
