HIMUDA EPF SUBSCRIBERS TO GET PROVISIONAL PENSION

Approval accorded for conversion of lease hold rights to free hold of Commercial properties of HIMUDA

The Board of Directors of HIMUDA has approved provisional pension to the EPF subscribers with effect from 1 April, 2017 payable in 5/2017. The Authority approved grant of Dearness Allowance to the employees of HIMUDA at enhanced rate of 130 percent with effect from  1 July, 2016. These decisions were taken in the meeting of BoD held under the chairmanship of Urban Development, Housing & TCP Minister Sudhir Sharma. 
The Authority approved the revised budget estimates of HIMUDA for year 2016-17 amounting to Rs.102.47 Crores  and  2017-18 amounting to Rs.137.10 crores. It agreed to extend the date of policy of one time final settlement of accounts of defaulters of HIMUDA allowing 9% rebate  on penal interest in the case of final settlement of dues of HIMUDA on account of cost and maintenance charges with effect from 1 June 2017 to 30 September 2017.  The Authority approved enhancement in the contractual emoluments by 25 percent of grade pay of the post of the employees of HIMUDA working on contractual basis as per the Govt. pattern. It accorded administrative approval and expenditure sanction for construction of 42 basement flats in Housing Colony at Kasumpti (Chhabrogti), Shimla amounting to Rs.5.25 crore. 

The Authority also accorded administrative approval and expenditure sanction for construction of 20 basement flats in Housing Colony at Flowerdale, Shimla amounting to Rs.3.89 crore and 24 flats amounting to Rs.14.74 crore and 12 Cat-II flats at a cost of Rs.5.30 crore under partially self financing scheme in Housing Colony at Hamirpur.

The approval was given for conversion of lease hold rights to free hold of Commercial properties of HIMUDA.  The Authority approved water charges for commercial use at par the rate for the year 2016 i.e. Rs.92/-  per thousand kilo liters for further three years.It also approved transfer of lands for the construction of Street Vendors Market at Parwanoo to the M.C. Parwanoo.

Vice-Chairman, HIMUDA Yashwant Chhajta, Additional Chief  Secretary Manisha Nanda, Director, UD D.K.Gupta, C.E.O.-cum-Secretary Dinesh Kashyap, non-official members and other senior officers attended the meeting.
