Arnav Aggarwal student of Gurukul Global School, Manimajra secured bronze medal in Cadet Boys singles (Under 12 years) in 11 Even Sports National Ranking Table-Tennis Championship 2017 (Central Zone) at Indore (Madhya Pradesh). In qualifying round Arnav Aggarwal beat Depanshu Gogoi of Assam 3-0 (11-7, 11-7, 11-5) and Paradh Puri of Punjab 3-0 (11-4, 11-8, 11-6) and entered the Main draw. In pre-quarter final Arnav beat Krish Shetty of Maharashtra 3-1 (11-5, 11-4, 7-11, 11-8) and in quarter finals Arnav beat Aktar MD Shoib of Kerala 3-1 (7-11, 11-5, 11-4, 11-2).

In Semi-finals Shantesh Mapsekar of Goa found Arnav Aggarwal of Chandigarh somewhat difficult to handle and Arnav Aggarwal lost to Shantesh Mapsekar of Goa in an interesting battle 2-3 (9-11, 11-2, 9-11, 12-10, 9-11) and thus won the bronze medal in the India Ranking Central Zone Table Tennis Tournament.
This was the very first tournament of the year by Table Tennis Federation of India in which he won the bronze medal. It is after a very long time that any individual player from Chandigarh has won the medal at National level.
