Officers and officials of Haryana Raj Bhawan has contributed bricks under “Ek Eint Shaheedon Ke Naam” campaign in Raj Bhawan today. 

These bricks were presented for the Akhara, being constructed in the memory of Martyr Rammehar, resident of Kheri Mansingh in Karnal and for the memorial of Martyr Sushil Kumar of Pehwa in Kurukshetra. These bricks were received by Convener of “Ek Int Shaheedon Ke Naam” programme Mr. Sanjeev Rana. Raj Bhawan's Home Controller Mr Jagannath Bains, Deputy Director (PR) Mr BL Dhiman, Governor's Private Secretaries, Mr Bakhwinder Singh and Mr Satish Kumar and other officials presented a brick under the programme.

On this occasion, Mr Sanjeev Rana said that people have given full support and cooperation to the campaign as a result of this 90 percent of the work of the said memorial and akhara had been completed. The remaining work will be completed soon.

He said that since the commencement of this campaign, people are continuously contributing their support. People from all walks of life, the institutions and organizations are getting information about the campaign. He said that the material received from people is being used in such a work which would give respect and honour to our martyrs. This would also inspire our future generation.

He said that it was wish of Martyr Rammehar that he would make a modern akhara for the new generation after his retirement. But in Sukma, he was martyred while fighting with Maoists, and his dream remained in the limelight. Now his dream is being fulfilled with the help of people.
