Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, said that the State Government is following the ideals of Lord Vishwakarma to equip every person with skills to ensure development of all sections of the society.

The Chief Minister was speaking at State Level Abhinandan Samaroh of Jangir Mahasabha in Rewari today. Describing Lord Vishwakarma as an accomplished architect, the Chief Minister said that following in his footsteps, the Haryana Government has established Haryana Vishwakarma Skill University in Palwal. The Government aims to make all the youth in the State self-sufficient and employable by equipping them with relevant skills. 

He said that the Haryana Government was observing the birth centenary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya as a part of the Swarna Jayanti Year celebrations of the State. As Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya had envisioned serving the last person in the queue as a way of ensuring overall development of society, the Government is working to minimise the gap among the different sections of society by utilising the revenue gained as taxes from the prosperous for the welfare of the poor. 

He also announced to give Rs 21 lakh from his discretionary funds for construction of Jangir community building. 

Minister of State for Public Health Engineering, Dr. Banwari Lal, said that the State Government was carrying out development work for all sections in the State. All the announcements made by the Chief Minister for the Bawal Assembly Constituency have been implemented. He also announced to give Rs 11 lakh from his discretionary funds for construction of Jangir community building.MLAs, Mr. Randhir Singh Kapriwas and Mr. Bikram Singh Yadav also spoke on the occasion.

Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of 11 development projects to the tune of Rs 23 crore, besides laying the foundation stone of Jangir community building. The Chief Minister inaugurated SC/ST Wing in Government Industrial Training Institute, Tankri, and gymnasium hall, grassy football ground and volleyball ground in Rao Tula Ram Stadium. He also laid foundation stones of sports facilitation centre, basketball ground and athletics cinder track in Rao Tula Ram Stadium, engineering college (workshop block and admin block) in Zainabad, eight residential quarters in PWD (B&R) Colony, Rewari and 12 classrooms and library in Government College, Nahar, district Rewari.
