RETIREMENT AGE OF DISTRICT SAINIK WELFARE OFFICERS ENHANCED TO 60 YEARS

Haryana Government has decided that the maximum age for recruitment, to be determined on the notified date, for the posts of Director and Assistant Secretary/Additional Director, Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Department and Zila Sainik Welfare Officers/Additional Directors of District Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Offices would be 57 years while their retirement age would be 60 years. 

While stating this here today, a spokesman of Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Department said that a notification has been issued in this regard.

He said that these decisions have been taken in the interest of smooth functioning of the department and to fill up vacancies of the said posts. 

ADHAR MENDATORY FOR ALL BENEFITS IN HARYANA: 

Haryana Government has decided that in compliance of Haryana Aadhaar (Targeted delivery of financial and other subsidies, benefits and services) Act 2017, the citizens would be required to produce Aadhar for every service, benefit or delivery of subsidy by the Power Department. 

While stating this here today, a spokesman of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) said that the State has enacted an Act to seek Aadhaar from citizens for delivery of services, benefits and subsidies namely Haryana Aadhaar (Targeted delivery of financial and other subsidies, benefits and services) Act 2017 passed and published by the State Government on March 23 and March 29, 2017.

He said that as per the Act, the establishment of identity of an individual by seeking Aadhaar has been made a condition for obtaining any subsidy, benefit or service for large number of government schemes which are funded out of the consolidated fund of the State. All concerned have been asked to ensure the strict compliance of these instructions, he added.
