NSUI..ON FAST WAY RAHUL GANDHI TRACK, WINS FIRST 3 KEY POSITIONS IN PU STUDENTS COUNCIL ELECTIONS:

The National Students Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of the All India Congress has won the Panjab University's Student Council polls, the results of which were declared on Thursday. Its candidates won the top three posts of the President, Vice-president and General secretary.

Jashan Kamboj of NSUI was elected as the president. He defeated Hasanpreet Kaur of SFS by 611 votes. Karanvir Singh Randhawa of NSUI was elected to the post of vice-president. He defeated Nidhi Lamba of PUSU by a big margin of 1338 votes. Vani Sood of NSUI wrested the post of General Secretary by defeating Suraj Dhaiya of PUSU by 669 votes.
