BONANZA TO CONTRACTUAL EMPLOYEES IN HARYANA, WILL PAY 14.29 PERCENT ACCORDING TO 7TH PAY COMMISSION

Haryana Government has decided to give the benefit of 7th Pay Commission to all contractual employees under National Health Mission (NHM). The hike of 14.29 per cent is to be extended to about 12,500 contractual employees working with NHM. With this hike, the additional annual liability would be Rs 32.42 crore.

While stating this here today, Health Minister, Mr. Anil Vij said that Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal had approved the proposal of 7th Pay Commission to give hike of 14.29 per cent to all contractual staff working under various departments, boards and corporations.

This is for first time in the history of NHM that State Government has given rise of 14.29 per cent from the State Budget. The benefit of hike is in addition to the each year’s hike in salary, which is given by Government of India, he added.
