INDIA TOPS IN SENDING 639 STUDENTS TO IUPUI

The IUPUI has noted a notable 87 per cent increase of foreign students this fall since 2017. Fall 2017 International Student Enrollement is 2087: Top 10 countries sending students: 1 India (639), 2 Saudhi Arabia (385), 3 China (322), 4 Mexico (140), 5 Malaysia (57), 6 Iran (42), 7 South Korea (30), 8 United Arab Emirates (30), 9 Angola (25) and 10 Bangladesh (24).

With Indian students leading the way, international enrollment at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis has touched a record level of 2,087 mark for the first time during fall 2017. International students including Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and IUPUC.

India continues to be the leading country of sending students to the IUPUI. According to figures released by the University in the IUPUI News magazine six hundred thirty nine Indian students have enrolled in Fall 2017. Saudhi Arabia has sent 385 students and is the second leading country to enroll their students. China is standing at third place with 385 student.

There were 2019 international students attending IUPUI, a 5.1 percent increase over 2014 and a 118.6 percent increase since 2005, when 924 international students enrolled at IUPUI. .
