HARYANA DECIDES COVERED AREAS OF BUILDING PLANS FROM ONE ACRE TO 10 ACRES

The Haryana Government has decided that in case of area of any site up to one acre, the minimum area norms for considering the building plans for approval and grant of occupation certificate, would be 25 per cent of permitted coverage on all floors, that is total permissible FAR.

Stating this here today, a spokesman of Town and Country Planning Department said in case the area exceeded one acre and was up to five acres, the minimum area norms for considering the building plans for approval and grant of occupation certificate would be 20 per cent of permitted coverage on all floors.

Similarly, in case of area above five acres and up to 10 acres, it would be 15 per cent and in case of area above 10 acres, it would be 10 per cent of permitted coverage on all floors. For Inland Container Depot, the minimum area for considering approval of building plans and grant of occupation certificate would be 2.5 per cent of the permissible ground coverage.

The spokesman said that these norms would come into effect immediately. Applications for approval of building plans and grant of occupation certificate which were in the pipeline would also be covered under this policy.
