CHANDIGARH TRAFFIC POLICE ORGANISED ROAD SAFETY EXHIBITION AND WORKSHOP

Chandigarh Traffic Police has organized Road Safety Exhibition/Workshop at Moti Ram Arya Senior Secondary Model School, Sector 27-A, Chandigarh.  In this road safety awareness programme Sh. Shashank Anand, IPS, SSP/Traffic & Security, Mr. Yashpal, DSP/Traffic (Admn. & East), Insp. Sita Devi, Incharge CTP, Mr. R. L. Gupta and Mr. Rajiv Sharma, Traffic Marshals and CTP staff participated.

 
There were around 200 students from standards X, XI & XII who were apprised of the Rules & Regulations pertaining to Driving Licence, use of Helmet and seat belt, Road Signs and Drunken Driving. More emphasis is being laid on educating students of senior classes as they are going to be road users very soon. More than 400 road safety awareness pamphlets/literatures were also distributed to the students and staff. 

 A quiz contest was held at the end where students who answered all the questions correctly were presented with Mementos by the SSP/Traffic & Security. Mrs. Saroj Savant, Principal thanked the entire Team with high praise for their excellent Presentation. HC Bhupinder Singh also presented a song on road safety, which was applauded by all.

Chandigarh Traffic Police is regularly conducting such road safely awareness programmes in different schools/colleges to create traffic awareness amongst the students, who are the future road users.lice
