HARYANA GOVT. DECIDES PAYMENT OF WAGES IN CASHLESS MADE

Haryana Government has decided that payment of wages and other benefits to the persons engaged through agency under part-I of outsourcing policy will be made in cashless mode.

While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the agency would make payment of wages and other benefits like ESI and EPF to persons engaged in departments, boards, corporations and local bodies through cashless mode such as RTGS and electronic wallets. The payment would not be made either by cheque, cash or bank draft.

He said that the government had already enhanced the wages or honorarium of contractual or outsourced persons engaged under part-I of outsourcing policy by 14.29 per cent with effect from January 1, 2016. He said that an unskilled person who was initially paid Rs. 8,100 per month is now getting Rs. 9,258 per month. Similarly, a semi-skilled person getting Rs. 10,286 instead of Rs. 9,000 per month. Monthly wages of skilled persons and highly skilled persons has been raised to Rs. 11,429 and Rs. 12,572, instead of earlier Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 11,000, respectively.
