CHANDIGARH HOUSING BOARD COMPLETES SCRUITNY OF APPLICANTS UNDER OUSTEE'S SCHEME 2017

Chandigarh Housing Board has completed scrutiny of applications received under the Oustee’s Scheme 2017. The Property Allotment Committee, CHB in its meeting held on 18.08.2017 had declared 123 applications as Eligible and applications received as Multiple Applications, Joint Khata Applications and Applications wherein Deficiencies were noted were included in the Provisional List of Ineligible applicants. Such applicants were provided an opportunity to submit documents to remove shortcomings vide Public Notice dated 09.09.2017, which date was further extended till 22.09.2017.

Some of the applicants submitted their documents and the Property Allotment Committee in its meeting held on 06.10.2017 considered 43 more applicants as Eligible.

Now, out of total 782 applications received in CHB, 366 applications have been withdrawn/refunded, 250 applicants were declared Ineligible as they did not complete the requisite documents and only 166 applicants have been found Eligible. The Provisional Seniority List of Eligible applicants and applications declared Ineligible by the PAC, CHB has been displayed on the Notice Board of Block ‘C’, CHB and also uploaded on the website www.chbonline.in of the Chandigarh Housing Board.

Draw of lots for numbering of the dwelling units shall be held at 11:00 A.M on 30.10.2017 in the CHB premises.  However, the applicants who have been declared Ineligible by the PAC may file Appeal before the Chief Executive Officer, CHB and, if successful, shall be adjusted against the available dwelling units.

Acceptance-Cum-Demand Letter (ACDL) and Allotment Letter will be issued to the Eligible applicants after Numbering Draw of lots.
