Panjab University, organized an interactive orientation session  for the freshers of the department here on Thursday. The event was initiated with the main  motive of indulging maximum students in the act of giving and helping others through  their social entrepreneurship model, thereby growing on an overall level themselves,  averred Prof. Seema Kapoor, Faculty Advisor, Enactus team. 

The event started with providing the young minds with insight about Enactus followed by the current initiatives and the projects the team is working on. The students also shared their personal experience about their journeys through the previous years and how it has enriched them to become better members of the society.

Prof.Johal appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to carry on the good work further. Prof. Rattan, who has been observing the team since its  inception, voiced his expectations and his pride for the organization. Prof. Emanual Nahar Dean Student Welfare (DSW) while addressing the students, appreciated the hardwork of  ENACTUS team in creating awareness among  various section of society about the upliftment of under-privileged and weaker section of society . He urged the team to leave there foot prints of love, kindness and affection wherever they go .He assured of his office’s full support .  handed over certificates appreciating their hard work and efforts.

Dean Student Welfare, Panjab University, Prof. Ramanjit Kaur Johal, Associate  Director, Research Promotion Cell, Prof. Uma Batra, Deputy Director, PEC University  of Technology, Prof. V.K. Rattan, founder of Enactus team, Prof. R.K. Chabbra , Ms.  Renuka Salwan, Director Public Relations, faculty members & non-teaching staff of  the department and students attended the programme .   In the end , students were handed over certificates for  appreciating their hard work and efforts.

The event was not just a narrative session but was interactive with the involvement of all, being a great success with the participation of over 225 students and will surely strengthen the team with new ideas.
