CHANDIGARH POLICE IN ASSOCIATION WITH CITIZEN AWARNESS GROUP OBSERVED WORLD DAY IN REMEMBRANCE OF ROAD ACCIDENT VICTIMS

World Day of Remembrance for Road Accident Victims was observed by Chandigarh Traffic Police at Children Traffic Park sector 23, Chandigarh in collaboration with Citizen Awareness Group, Chandigarh and Consumer Voice on Sunday. More than 250 students of various colleges of city beautiful participated.

tWOminutes silence was observed followed by Candle March in Children Traffic Park. Sh. Rajiv Ambasta DSP/Traffic/South, Road Safety, R&D was the chief guest who aware the students about road safety in his address, specially the girls student was asked to wear helmet while driving two wheeler. DSP Hardit Singh, Sh. Surender Verma Chairman Citizen Awareness Group, Chandigarh and Sh. Amarjeet Singh, Legal Advisor Consumer Voice was also present on this occasion.
