CAPTAIN AMARINDER SINGH PAYS RICH TRIBUTES TO MARTYRS, SOLDIERS ON FLAG DAY

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Thursday paid rich tributes to the martyrs and brave soldiers of the nation to mark the Armed Forces Flag Day.

Director Sainik Services Welfare Punjab Brig. (Retd.) Jatinder Singh Arora pinned the Armed Forces Flag on Captain Amarinder at the latter’s residence here this evening.

Lauding the contribution of the martyrs and the valiant soldiers of the nation, Captain Amarinder called upon the people to re-affirm their solidarity with the Armed Forces and Ex-servicemen on this occasion. He underlined the need to remember and honour their role in safeguarding the country's honour, security and integrity. The Chief Minister also made a contribution towards the Flag Day fund as a token of respect and honour for the nation's heroic soldiers.
