A fundraiser for Diego Morales, who is in run for Congress in the 4th district of Indiana was held at the Shalimar Restraunt in Broad Ripple. It was hosted by Sikhs Political Action Committee founder president Gurinder Singh Khalsa, Baldev Singh Sallan and Sukdev Singh Samra.

"The fundraiser was successful beyond our expectations and we thank everyone for their steadfast support for Diego. Fundraising efforts will continue until December 31," announced Mr Khalsa. He also thanked for generous and overwhelming support for Diego Morales. Also thanked those who donated or committed to support but could not attend today.

Speaking on the occasion, Diego Morales said that my job is to payback to this great country which has given us so much. His demand was to pray for him, create hope and of course financial support. " I am risking every thing because our aim is to create future of our children bright. We are all human beings, we are Americans and great Hoosiers."

Praising the role of the Sikh community and Diego, an Army veteran is confident that one day a "Sikh can be President of this country." He assured if elected he would move a resolution in the Congress to proclaim a 'Sikh Day' recognising their valuable services and conttribution for the welfare of the communities.

It was his 10th fundraising event he aims to raise $ 700,000.

Among those present and participated in fundraising and assuring full support to Diego Morales weereJimmy Brar, Gurpreet Singh Malhi, Baldev Singh Thind, Rashpal Shermar. Rashpal Singh,  Dilware Singh, Dr Bijender Kumar, Jaswant Singh

Recently Diego Morales  had received the endorsement of former Indiana Republican State Chairman Rex Early. Rex has been a long-time leader and conservative champion in Indiana, and was President Trump's campaign chairman in Indiana last year. " I'm so very thankful for Rex's friendship and the trust he has placed in our campaign with his endorsement."

It’s great to see small businesses  in Tippecanoe County give back to their community during this special time of the year. Jesus is the reason for this season and here in the 4th Congressional District we are proud to say “Merry Christmas!”
