CELEBERATION OF 350TH PRAKASHOTSAV OF GURU GOBIND SINGH JI: HARYANA CM FLAG OFF SPECIAL TRAINS TO SRI PATNA SAHIB

Haryana Government has celebrated the 350th Prakashotsav of Guru Gobind Singh Ji in the State in a befitting manner. It is for the first time when the State Government has made arrangement of two special trains from Ambala and Sirsa to facilitate the pilgrims going to Shri Patna Sahib in Bihar for participating in the concluding ceremony of the 350th Prakashotsav of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji from December 22 to December 25, 2017.

This was stated by MLA Assandh, Mr Bakhshish Singh Virk while interacting with the media persons after flagging off a special train from Ambala Cantt. Railway Station today. Mr Virk would also travel in the special train along with the devotees.

He said that besides Ambala, more than 1,500 devotees of other districts namely Panchkula, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Panipat and Sonepat are going to Patna Sahib through this special train having 22 coaches. The State Government has made adequate arrangement of drinking water and food for the pilgrims in each coach of the train. Apart from this, doctors have also been deputed in the train so that immediate medical aid could be provided to the pilgrims in case of need. Two Class-I officers each have been deputed from every district with the devotees as nodal officers, he added.

MLA Ambala City, Mr Aseem Goyal said that Guru Gobind Singh Ji had sacrificed his life for the country and while paying tributes to him, the Haryana Government had decided to arrange two special trains for the devotees to visit Patna Sahib, which was a commendable step.
