HARYANA POLICE ARRESTED THREE YOUTH INVOLVED IN ATTACKING STUDENTS OF JAMMU AND KASHMIR

Haryana Police has arrested three youth who were involved in attacking the students belonging to Jammu and Kashmir at Mahendragarh yesterday. Other three youth involved in this incident have also been identified and would be arrested soon.

Deputy Commissioner, Mahendragarh, Dr. Garima Mittal today visited the university and enquired about the well-being of students Aftab and Amzad, who belong to Jammu and Kashmir and are studying in Central University, Haryana, Jant-Pali village, district Mahendragarh. 

She assured them and other students belonging to Jammu and Kashmir that District Administration would ensure their safety so they should continue with their studies without any fear. The Deputy Commissioner also gave her mobile number to the students and asked them to call her if they feel insecure. Later, she took both students to hospital for a re-check up.

She said that a PCR has been deputed to keep an eye on activities in the Central University, Haryana. She asked the students that whenever they go outside university for any purpose, they should make entry at the main gate and also inform at the nearest police station. She directed the University Management not to allow outsiders to enter university without any purpose and maintain register of details of outsiders visiting the university before allowing them to enter the university campus.
