DELHI POLICE BUSTED GANG OF SUPLLIER OF FAKE MBA , B.TECH CERTIFICATES, THREE ARRESTED

Special Staff of Outer District was tasked to keep the check upon various crimeand criminals activities including white collar crime prevalent in variousslots of the society. Resultantly, an information was received to Special Staffof Outer Distt. that one person is running the group of supplying mark sheetsin the area of PS Mianwali Nagar. Hence, all the informers were activated andthe information was developed.

In the meanwhile one complaint was also receivedin the office of Special Staff that one person namely Shiv Shankar is runningthe said racket of providing fake mark sheets and he cheated the complainantamounting to Rs. 2.5 Lac and further demanded Rs.50,000/- for Final Degree inthis regard.

Hence, a case vide FIR No. 37/18 dated 14.02.2018 U/s 420/468/471/120-BIPC was registered at PS Mianwali Nagar, Delhi in this regard and a teamcomprising of SI Pardeep, SI Rinku, W/SINishu Sangwan, ASI Virender Chhillar, ASI Yogender, ASI Devender, W/ASI Pushpa,HC Rohtash, HC Pardeep Sheokand, HC Suresh Antil, Ct. Narender Malik, Ct. Amarjee Rana, Ct.Sandeep Yadav, Ct. Ajay and Ct. Paramjeet Singh was constituted led by Insp.Sukhbir Malik, I/C Special Staff under the overall supervision of Asst. Commissioner of Police/Operations, OuterDistrict, Delhi to conduct a raid.

When accused Shiv Charan was interrogated, he disclosed that he was running this gang in connivance with two other accusedpersons namely Manish Bansal and Gautam Gupta. Accordingly, both the accusedpersons i.e. Gautam Gupta and Manish Bansal were also arrested and multiplemark sheets and hardware equipments were also recovered from their office. Allthe recoveries were seized as per seizure memo.


Mr. Rajendra Singh Sagar, Addl. Dy.Commissioner of Police, said,  acting upon the complaint and information developed by the Special Staff ofOuter Distt., a trap was laid at the office of alleged accused Shiv Shankari.e.1st floor, National market, Chaudhary Prem Sukh Marg, New Delhiand accused Shiv Shankar was apprehended from his office. Number of fake marksheets/migration/provisional certificates, pen drives and hardware equipmentswere recovered from his office. When accused Shiv Charan was interrogated, he disclosed that he was running this gang in connivance with two other accusedpersons namely Manish Bansal and Gautam Gupta. Accordingly, both the accusedpersons i.e. Gautam Gupta and Manish Bansal were also arrested and multiplemark sheets and hardware equipments were also recovered from their office. Allthe recoveries were seized as per seizure memo.

INTERROGATION

During interrogation, accused personsdisclosed that they used to obtain the database of mobile numbers from Justdialand also used to conduct marketing of their business/racket by distributing pamphletsdoor to door. In order to convince/entice their clients, they used topresent/describe full description about all the universities (whose details aredownloaded by them from internet) in such a manner that they managed to lurefew clients. Hence after convincing their clients, they supply the marksheets/migration/provisional certificates to their clients on their demandbasis i.e. whether they want B. Tech certificates, MBA certificates etc.

MODUS OPERANDI

The 3 accused persons provide the forged mark sheet/degrees of those Universities ( National University, Vinayak Missionand Sunrise) which were closed recentlyso that in case if anyone want to verify/cross examine the genuineness of suchdegrees/Mark sheets, he/she unable to do so.

The Police have recovered number of fake mark sheets/Provisional/Migration certificates.,  Pen drives. Laptops and desktop CPUs. Police solved the case registered  in Mianwali Nagar.

The Accused  identified Shiv Shankar R/o Bapa Nagar, Karol Bagh,Delhi aged 37 years., Gautam Gupta R/o Vasant Kunj enclave, Delhi aged 33 years. and Manish Bansal R/o Pandav Nagar, Delhi aged 50 years.
