CHANDIGARH CRIME BRANCH POLICE ARRESTED MOST NOTORIOUS VEHICLE LIFTER INVOLED IN MORE THAN 200 CASES

The accused Kuldeep Singh has a tainted past and he has been arrested several times in the past. He has been arrested in approximately 175 cases earlier. In recent two years he has been arrested by Mohali, Zirakpur, Panchkula, Ambala, Yamuna Nagar, Fatehgarh Sahib, Ropar, Karnal and Chandigarh Police. He was first arrested in the year 2004 for stereo theft. Chandigarh Police has arrested him previously in 27 cases of theft.

In a major breakthrough the Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police under the supervision of Inspector Amanjot Singh arrested the most notorious vehicle lifter namely Kuldeep Singh @ Dana S/o Sh. Jai Singh r/o # 3181, Manmohan Nagar, Ambala City, Haryana involved in auto lifting from Chandigarh.

On Feb.25 last secret information was received that above said accused persons who is involved in several cases of vehicle lifting is presently roaming in the area of Police Station Sector 3, Chandigarh. On the basis of that secret information the naka was laid and Kuldeep Singh was apprehended while he was trying to steal another car from Kaimbwala. With his arrest total 12 cases have been worked out. Out of which 11 are of vehicle theft (i.e. 3 are cars and 8 are two wheelers) and 1 of gold chain snatching.

With the arrest of accusesd Police have solved 12 cases registered with Sector 3, Sector 39, Sector, 26, Sector 19, Sector 11, Industrial Area, and Manimajra Police stations.
