Mann, Khaira, Manuke and Aman Arora said will raise the issue in Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabah

Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday came out in support of SSA, RAMSA and Computer teachers and announced to raise the issue in upcoming session of Vidhan Sabha and ongoing session of Lok Sabha. In a joint statement, AAP state president, Bhagwant Mann, LOP Sukhpal Singh Khaira, Co-president Aman Arora and Deputy LOP Sarabjit Kaur Manuke said that this is the unacceted attitude of Govt. towards the teacher fertanity. 

The leaders said that the the representatives of the different teachers unions submitted memorandum to the party and it came to light that how the Govt. is harassing the teachers and is planning to cut short their salary to 70% to 80%. The moov has left the teachers red faced and it will also affect the students in long run as well. 

Mann said that on the terms of Akali-BJP Govt. the present Congress Govt. is also destroying the education system in the state and he will raise the issue in ongoing session of Lok Sabha. He said that he will request the Lok Sabha speaker to ask Punjab Govt. to implemet Kejriwal Model of school education in the state as she did by passing words to Madhya Pradesh Govt. 

Khaira,Manuke and Aman said that the opposition in Vidhan Sabha will raise the issue in upcoming session and will insure that no harassment of teachers will be done on the hands of Govt. The leaders said that the plan of Govt. to force even those teachers who have already completed their 10 years in the service to work on contract basis for 3 more years is sheer violation of service rules as well as natural law. AAP leaders said that the party oppose the contract and outsourcing system being practiced in the Govt. sector and demands full pay for work.
