NIPER SCHOLOARS BAG “PHARMAINNOVA” AWARD

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research has bagged the 5 “PharmaInnova Awards 2017-18” Rajnibhai V. Patel Trust under the Patronage of Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. NIPER’s total number of 5 students including PhDs and Master have brought this laurels to the institute. Dr. Shete Ganesh Bhaskarrao, Dr. Priyank Purohit, Dr. Sabbir Khan (PhD scholars) and Ms. Rhythm Arora and Mr. Gurudutt Dubey (M.Pharm) have been awarded with “PharmInnova awards 2017-18”. Their qualitative research work and the best thesis were the base for winning this award which could not have been possible without the guidance/efforts of their guides Prof. Arvind K Bansal, Prof. Asit K Chakraborti, Dr Gopabandhu Jena, Dr. Sanyog Jain and Dr Joydev K Laha respectively. And all great efforts brought together of students & guides brought this victory. 

Dr. Shete Ganesh Bhaskarrao’s work is on “Development and evaluation of nanocrystaline solid dispersions of antioxidants” , Dr. Priyank Purohit ‘s work is on “ Development of novel Anti-inflammatory” and Dr. Dr. Sabbir Khan’s work is on “Anti-diabetic and anti-fibrotic effects of selected HDAC inhibitors in experimental diabetic rat: Elucidation of molecular mechanisms”


Each PhD scholar will be awarded a Trophy of “PharmaInnova Awards”, a certificate and cash prize of Rs. 75000/- each and cash prize for Research Guide of the winner is Rs. 40,000/- each. And M. Pharm will also be awarded a Trophy of “PharmaInnova Awards” , a certificate and cash prize of Rs. 51000/- each and cash prize for Research Guide of the winner is Rs. 25,000/- each. 

With an aim to encourage innovative thinking amongst students, Rajnibhai V Patel Trust instituted “PharmInnova Award” at the academic level of Pharmaceutical Sciences in India. The Award is given to students pursuing their Masters & Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The Award is organized by Rajnibhai V. Patel Trust under the Patronage of Department of Science & Technology, Government of India and sponsored by Troikaa Pharmaceuticals Ltd.The prestigious L M College of Pharmacy is the coordinator for this event. “PharmInnova Award” is given every year to the students and their research guides for the most innovative thesis in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the categories of Ph. D. Subjects Pharmaceutics & Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology and in the category of M. Pharm Subjects, Pharmaceutics & Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology,
