YOUNG JOURNALIST AWARD ON 3RD APRIL, EMINENT JOURNALISTS WILL GET SIMMI MARWAHA HONOR

Simmi Marwaha memorial Charitable trust is organizing 15th Simmi Marwaha Young Journalist Award on 3rd April at Press Club Sector-27-B Chandigarh. 

Giving this information, Trust's Trustee poet Rajinder Rozi told that this year award will be given to print media, cinematographer and Punjab University Mass Communication correspondent Topper in the form of pure silver.  Singer Sagar will perform in the program.  

Simi Marwaha was a journalist who died in a road accident in Chandigarh on 22 March 2003, 15 years ago at the age of 24. She was associated with Dainik Bhaskar and electronics media. After that the establishment of this trust was started by the people who wanted to celebrate this day as a respect which is still continuing. This annual event is being held on 3rd of  April which is the birthday of Simmi Marwaha. The Trust has so far honored 52 journalists  across the country in 14 years.
