ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR FACULTY AND STUDENTS AT GMHS RC, DHANAS ORGANISED

Natural Biodiversity, a registered society with Chandigarh Administration is constantly thriving to make people aware of local environmental issues and enable them managing waste. This can’t be achieved without involving all strata of life and specifically students, many of whom are under privileged. 

Sensing the education as key pillar of sustainable development, Dr. Arun Bansal, Administrator of the society who has been a driving force behind its numerous activities has taken an initiative to set up collaborative libraries in tri-city area and first of those has come up with GMHS RC2, Dhanas. 

An orientation session for teachers and students was organized at school where principal of school apprised that about three hundred books are already in stock and he is collecting all kind of used and unused educational material including books, notebooks etc. 

On this occasion the feelings of students were also taken into considerations and students were found extremely happy to see such large number of diversified books at their own desks. They expressed that they would be helping their teachers in up keep of the library.
