INSPIRE’S SEMINAR ON RTI ACT AND HUMAN RIGHTS ACT ORGANISED AT UIET, PU

At the outset, Sh. J.C.Verma, Chief Patron while welcoming the Chief Guest & Speaker and participants, informed that Institution for Secretarial Practices & Development (INSPIRE) is a non-profit voluntary body of working professional secretaries registered under Societies Act.

He highlighted the aim and objectives of INSPIRE, how it was working for the growth and development of this working class of professional secretaries and also helping them and taking care of their well being keeping in view of their strenuous hard duties and responsibilities for 24 hours, even at odd hours and holidays at the cost of their family responsibilities. With the unanimous decision of the attendance, Sh. J.C. Verma and Sh. DMS Bedi become the Chief Patron and Chairman of INSPIRE, respectively.

The other members are Sh. K. G. Grover, Vice Chairman, Sh. Naveen Sharma, Advisor & Secretary General, Sh. Sukesh Kumar as Advisor & Finance Secretary, Sh. Bakshish Singh as Secretary General, Sh. Charanjit Singh as Secretary (PR), Sh. Rajinder Kashyap as Legal Advisor, Sh. J.N.Bakshi as Advisor, Ms. Jatinder Kaur as Advisor, Sh. Purshotam Mehta, Sh. A.N.Unnikrishnan, Ms. Krishnan Pankajavally and Ms. Kavita Arora as Executive Members. The Guest Speaker was Dr. (Mrs.) Jyoti Rattan, Associate Professor, Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh who talked about RTI Act and Human Rights Act. She brought awareness about these Acts with suitable tips and examples of enlightening the large number of INSPIRE members in attendance. Every member felt very enlightened and applauded the talk.
