HARYANA VIGILANCE BUREAU RECOMMENDS REGISTRATION OF CRIMINAL CASE AGAINST 19 GAZETTED OFFICERS AND OTHERS

Chandigarh, (Face2News) Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has recommended registration of criminal case against 19 Gazetted Officers, 20 Non-Gazetted Officers, 10 private persons and officers and officials in 22 investigations conducted by it during the month of May 2018. The Bureau has also recommended departmental action against 27 Gazetted officers and 34 Non-Gazetted Officers in another investigation conducted by it. While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Bureau said that the Bureau has also caught red handed eight officers and officials while accepting illegal gratification ranging from Rs 2,000 to Rs 50,000 under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. He said that Vijender Kumar, Auditor, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, Sirsa has been caught red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000, whereas Ram Kumar, Lineman, Power House, Gohana road, Panipat was caught while accepting bribe of Rs 20,000. Similarly, Sub Inspector Balinder Singh, Police Station Farakpur, district Yamunanagar and Mahavir Mittal, Examiner, Copying Branch, Court Rohtak has been caught while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 and Rs 8,000 respectively. He said that Kanwal Singh, Auction Recorder, Grain Market, Gannaur, district Sonipat and Ram Phal, Passport and License Assistant posted in the office of DC Narnaul have been caught red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 each, Bir Singh, Branch Manager, Sarv Haryana Gramin Bank, Mundhal Khurd, district Bhiwani and Vikram Singh, Patwari, Halqa Rewari have been caught red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively.
