Inter directorate shooting championship cum selection trials for XXVIII All India GV Mavlankar Shooting Championship for the year 2018 is being conducted by 2 Chandigarh Battalion NCC, Chandigarh under the aegis of NCC Group Headquarters, Chandigarh on behalf of Headquarters Director General NCC, New Delhi from 07 to 18 August 2018 at Patiala ki Rao shooting Range, Sector-25, Chandigarh.

The NCC cadets qualifying the selection criteria will form part of Director General NCC Shooting team for participation at the XXVIII All India GV Mavlankar Shooting Championship (AIGVMSC) to be held at Chennai from 30 August to 07 September, 2018. Total 281 NCC cadets of 17 NCC Directorates from entire India are participating in the competition. The competition will terminate on 18 August with the Additional Director General, NCC Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh & Chandigarh Directorate, Major General RS Mann, VSM giving medals to the winners.
