ENGINEERS’ DAY: 215 UNITS OF BLOOD DONATED

As many as 215 units of Blood we Donated in the 22nd Blood Donation Camp organized by CPWD Junior Engineers’ Association (India), Chandigarh Branch in association with Blood Bank of PGIMER, Chandigarh today at Kendriya Sadan Sector-9A, Chandigarh on the occasion of Engineers’ Day. 

 Er. BP Singh, Superintending Engineer, Central Public Works Department (CPWD) inaugurated the camp and paid homage to the greatest Indian Engineer Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya in whose memory Engineers’ Day is celebrated, every year on September 15. 

The blood donors from CPWD, various offices of Kendriya Sadan and nearby offices participated in this event with great enthusiasm and donated blood. 

Er. Rajesh Varoon, Secretary of the Association  thanked all the blood donors for their invaluable contribution in the service of mankind and all others who contributed in various ways in making the camp a success.
