The Foundation’s mission is promoting excellence in patient care and outcomes in trauma and musculoskeletal disorders.

`It was observed that while treating fractures of bones, the soft tissue and skin coverage of the fractured bones was being compromised and it took a longer time for the patient to recover from injuries. Hence to deal with these type of fracture injuries, a special task force has been setup. This task force will formulate guidelines for the trauma surgeons which includes Orthopedic surgeons, maxillofacial, spine and plastic surgeons. Regular courses would be held in all continents to upgrade the knowledge of the surgeons on this issue,’’ said Dr Gill.
