DREAM FULFILLED SAYS 'MISS INDIA WORLDWIDE 2018' SHREE SAINI

NEW JERSEY (BALBIR SINGH)

Born in Punjab (India) Indian-American Shree Saini got her cherished dream fulfilled when she was crowned Miss India Worldwide 2018 at the 27th Annual Global pageant held in the Fords City of New Jersey. Sakshi Sinha of Australia and Anusha Sareen from United Kingdom were adjudged the first and second runner ups.

 
 
Shree Saini said "the dream of mine of one day competing for a world title started when I was just in elementary school and watching an international pageant on TV. 

"I was instantly inspired by the contestants’ confidence when they proudly said their countries’ name on stage and I was so mesmerized by their community work.

"From the day I dreamed of being on the world stage, I started preparing with dance lessons, public speaking and creating my nonprofit to humbly give back.

It may be recalled that Shree Saini was crowned Miss India USA last year where she competed with 50 girls across America. At the Miss India Worldwide Peasantry, participants from 42 had staked their claims for the top honour.

Shree Saini spoke about her journey, being a heart patient, having a pacemaker to winning nationals and shared her humble message of hope and resilience. Shree Saini also ahve opportunity to study at Harvard Yale Stanford University.

India's Mandeep Kaur Sandhu, who hails from Haryana, was crowned Mrs India Worldwide 2018.

Jeya Priya Pandian from Malaysia and Kavita Malhotra Pattani from USA were declared the first and second runner ups of the Mrs India Worldwide 2018 respectively.

Chairman and Founder of India Festival Committee Dharmatma Saran announced that the next Miss India Worldwide will be organised in Mumbai in 2019.

Shree Saini had visited Indianapolis last month on the invitation of India Association of Indianapolis to participate in Diwali Celebrations.
