CBI's work culture over the years has given CBI worldwide recognition and the young officers of the agency should feel proud to be part of this elite organization and that they should not conduct investigations to win laurels or medals, but do their righteous 'karma'. This was stated by Shri M.Nageswara Rao, Incharge Director, CBI at the Investiture Ceremony of the 22nd Batch of Sub-Inspector Cadets of CBI held today at CBI Academy, Ghaziabad(Uttar Pradesh). Speaking on the occasion, Shri Rao asked the cadets to take steps with the most positive frame of mind - as it is said that "a positive attitude is a person's passport to a better tomorrow".

108 Cadets joined CBI Academy on 28.05.2018 and underwent 30 weeks of intensive training in a wide range of subjects. The training was imparted under the guidance and supervision of a dedicated team of trainers during which the cadets, apart from basic laws & investigation skills, were trained in the investigation of Anti-Corruption Cases, different types of Conventional Crimes, the ways and means of collecting the evidence as well as intelligence, Anti-Corruption Cases, drug related offences, human trafficking, wildlife crimes, investigation of cyber crime cases, collection of volatile data and seizure of hard disk, mobile forensic, forensic medicine, forensic science, investigation of crimes related to bank frauds, security frauds and other types of economic offences etc. The cadets have also been given special training on Computer skills, Fire-Arms, Judo, Yoga, Unarmed Combat, soft skills, gender sensitization and human rights as well. Emphasis was laid on preparing these Cadets for the challenges they would be facing in the field of investigation in the years and decades to come. 

On this occasion, all the 108 cadets took the oath to serve the country and fight corruption with devotion and sincerity, keeping in mind the motto of CBI - 'Industry, Impartiality, Integrity'. 

Joint Director(Training), Shri Bhanu Bhaskar, Senior officers and family members of the cadets were present during the ceremony.
