The talented husband-wife duo, Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi have been entertaining the audience for a few decades now. While both of them have individually made their mark in the industry, either as successful an actor or a director, the couple has never been seen together on a television screen. Sony SAB’s latest offering ‘My Name Ijj Lakhan’ is all set to introduce this real life husband-wife duo as reel life husband-wife.

Sharing her experience of working with Parmeet, Archana Puran Singh said, “It definitely feels good to share screen space with Parmeet and that too for a show like My Name Ijj Lakhan, which is based on the concept of good versus evil. I strong believe that there is a fine line between tragedy and comedy and I am doing this show as it has drama that doesn’t result into tragedy but comedy.”

Adding to this, Parmeet said, “I am looking forward to play a complete positive role. The character that I am playing is very straight and sees everything in either black or white. I hope that viewers will appreciate me in this new avatar and love my pairing with Archana.”

My Name Ijj Lakhan stars bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade in a pivotal role of Lakhan, while Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi will portray his on screen parents, Pammi and Dashrath respectively.
