*WILL BESTOW THREE MAJOR AWARDS IN PR FIELD* SUMMIT TO EXPLORE THE SIGNIFICANCE OF NEW TRENDS IN PR

The first PR Summit-2019 on the unique theme of  'New Trends in PR' is being organised by Public Relations Society of India Chandigarh Chapter on 5th, January at hotel Parkview Chandigarh. On the occasion, the Chapter will present three major awards to Best PR Person, Best PR Teacher and Best PR Agency for the year 2018.

Disclosing this, Chairman of PRSI Chandigarh Chapter H.S Grewal said Minister of Power and New & Renewable Energy Resources Punjab, Gurpreet Singh Kangar would inaugurate the Summit and Director General Information & Public Relations & Languages, Haryana Sameer Pal Srow would grace the occasion as guest of honour. He added that this Summit would prove to be helpful in lighting up the knowledge of PR fraternity and sharpen their skills in discharging their duties as a PR practitioner.

The Key note address would be delivered by former DIPR, Himachal Pradesh B.D. Sharma and prominent speakers would throw light on the benefits of emerging technological advancements in field of PR. During the technical session of the Summit, eminent experts including senior editor of News 18 Ritesh Lakhi, MD QuikRelations P.K. Khurana, Head of Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Punjabi University Dr Happy Jeji and former vice president (North), PRSI V.P. Sharma would deliberate upon the leading issues related to the theme.

It is pertinent to mention here that PRSI Chandigarh Chapter established in 1984, comprises states of Haryana, Punjab and U.T. Chandigarh and promoting the recognition of PR as a profession and working to inspire many others to become active PR professionals.
