The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Branch Manager, Bank of India, Simrahi Branch, District- Supaul (Bihar) for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 50,000/- from the complainant.
A case was registered on 22.01.2019 against Branch Manager, Bank of India, Simrahi Branch, District- Supaul (Bihar) on the allegations of demanding a bribe of Rs. 75,000/- for crediting Cash Credit of Rs. 9 lakh to complainant for his business of milk parlour. It was further alleged that after negotiation, the accused agreed to accept Rs. 50,000/- as bribe from the complainant. CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 50,000/- from the complainant. Searches were conducted at the premises of the accused.
