WORLD BOOK OF RECORDS HONOUR DADI RATAN MOHINI ON 95TH BIRTHDAY

Abohar: The World Book of Records, London has honoured Dadi Ratan Mohini, Joint Spiritual Head of Brahma Kumaris organisation on her 95th birthday. Ashwin Trivedi, a senior High Court advocate presented the citation on behalf of the London based NGO to the Dadi at a function held in the Diamond Hall in Shantivan in Abu Road today. As many as 20,000 persons who had come from different Indian states and abroad lighted candles on the occasion, Dadi was joined by other dignitaries in cake cutting ceremony.   

In childhood she created the foundation of her life in the early days of Brahma Kumaris. She lives up to her name 'most beautiful jewel' by always appearing light and tension-free. Dedicated and forthright, her focus has been the development and training programmes for teachers throughout India and serves as the spiritual resource to the team of young people responsible for the personal development and growth of youth. Now at 95, she remains lively and young at heart. 

Interestingly Dadi Ratan Mohini is chief of the youth wing of the largest NGO in the world that is run mostly by women who had dedicated life to transform the world.

Brahma Kumaris general secretary BK Nirwair said on the occasion that in 1959 BK Ratan Mohini was serving as Rajyoga teacher when he joined the organisation. Also present on the occasion were Dadi Ishu, BK Munni Behan, additional general secretary BK Brijmohan, executive secretary BK Mruthyunjaya, Multi Media and Public Relations head BK Karuna, BK Munni Behan and other senior activists.

A documentary on the life and achievements of Dadi Ratan Mohini was screened during the function that was graced with group dances by teenager artistes.
