When asked by Kapil, if there was any particular reason Karan takes Kajol in every film, Karan proudly replied by saying, "Yes ofcourse! She is my best friend, best actor and always the first choice. He further walked down memory lane and said , "When I wanted Kajol to do a cameo for the song, 'Maahi Ve' from Kal Ho Na Ho, it had been just one month since she gave birth to her daughter Nysa. She still came for me and Shahrukh. She was my first choice to cast in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna but as Nysa was too young she couldn’t give dates for the shoot.She is a true friend who always cares."
