SIRSA POLICE ARRESTED ONE PERSON WITH 3.5 KG GANJA, TWO PROCALAIMED OFFENDERS ALSO ARRESTED

Haryana Police has arrested a person and seized 3.5 kg ganja from him in Sirsa district. In addition, Police has also nabbed 3 persons, who were declared proclaimed offenders (POs) by the Court. 

While stating this here today, a spokesman of Police Department said that person arrested on the charges of possessing 3.5 kg ganja was identified as Mali Ram, a resident of Mandi Kalanwali. He was arrested from near Kalanwali after getting a specific input about smuggling of narcotic substance. A case under the provisions of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act has been registered against him. 

Under a special drive to arrest POs, bail jumpers and parole jumpers, police has arrested Om Parkash, a resident of Patel Basti Sirsa, Gurpej Singh of Kalanwali and Vikram of Baijalpur, Fatehabad, who were declared POs in year 2018, 2017 and 2019 respectively.
