Chandigarh (Subhash Jindal/Kulbir Kalsi)
As its regular annual feature, this time also Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association Chandigarh has organized day and night the Intra Bar Cricket Tournament 2019. As many as 32 teams have participated in this tournament, the tournament continued for 14 days.
The tournament was inaugurated by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rajiv Sharma and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Jaswant Singh. The Final match of this tournament has been played on 31/05/2019 at 6-00PM. Which was graced by Hon’ble Mr. Anupinder Singh Grewal, who remain there as chief guest and Sh Punit Bali Sr. Advocate, Sh Saurav Khurana Ji as Guest of the finals.
The executive committee of the Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association organized the tournament with great zeal and enthusiasm particularly, the Vice President and sports committee of the Bar Association. The Bar Association extended thanks to the Executive Committee and Ch.Vikas Malik, Vice President and Sh. Ajay Kumar Dahiya, Sh. Dhruv Khanna, Sh. Pradeep Kumar Sehrawat Sh. Satinder Pal Singh Dhaliwal, Sh. Vikas Sonak who played the role of front runner and spared their valuable time during working hours of the court. The Bar Association also extended thanks to the team of staff of the Bar association headed by Sh. Viney Kumar, Superintendent, Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association Chandigarh.
The tournament ended in good spirit and the mission of Swasth Bharat in some manner has been achieved. The Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association in its effort to promote sports and good health of its member has decided to continue such tournaments in future as well.
