TO MAIINTAIN LAW AND ORDER SITUATION 331 POLICE POSTS OF NEW POLICE STATION IN STATE: DGP

Haryana Government has decided to set up five new Police stations by upgrading existing police posts in Ambala Range for strengthening the law and order and effectively dealing with crime in the state. 

While stating this here today, Director General of Police, Mr Manoj Yadava said that Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has approved a proposal of Home Department for upgrading five Police posts to Police stations in Ambala Range.
These Police stations will be established at Gandhi Nagar, Yamunanagar, Sector-9 Ambala, Krishna Gate, Thanesar,Kurukshetra, City Pehowa, Kurkshetra and Sector-17, HUDA, Jagadhri, Yamunanagar. 

 DGP thanked the Chief Minister for giving consent for new Police stations in Ambala Range. This move would help in further strengthening the law and order in view of the increase in population and rapid urbanization.

He said that government has also approved 331 posts for the new Police stations on which an annual expenditure of over Rs 14.48 crore would be incurred. Each Police station would have five posts of Inspectors, 12 Sub-Inspectors, 24 Assistant Sub Inspectors, 54 Head Constables, 216 Constables and class IV staff. 

The DGP also thanked the Chief Minister for giving consent for new Police stations in Ambala Range. This move would help in further strengthening the law and order in view of the increase in population and rapid urbanization.
