NRI PROFESSOR P L JOSHI RECEIVED 26TH BHARAT NIRMAN AWARD IN EDUCATION TRAINING 2019

The Bharat Nirman Awards Committee honoured an NRI Professor P L Joshi with its prestigious Bharat Niram Award in Education Training  in a glittering event which was organized at Kalamandir auditorium,  Kolkatta, on 8th June 2019. The award was bestowed to him for his outstanding contributions in the field of education that might has raised the prestige and position of society and nation.

Prof Dr.  Joshi is currently working with Multimedia University, Malaysia as a Professor of Accounting. He has been NRI Professor for last 28 years. 

The Bharat Nirman award committee honoured a total number of 12 people for their outstanding achievements in various walk of life in front of 1,600 audience. A number of diginitries from Tollywood, government adminitration and corporate sector were present to grace the ocassion.

Akhtar Ali, the veteran tennis stalwart of India was honoured with life time achievement award. In 2018, the famous Bollywood star Prem Chopra was honoured by the award committee with life time achievement award.

An author of six books, Dr Joshi has published more than 120 research articles in accredited international journals. He has founded three  international journals in accounting e.g. IJAAPE, AAJFa and IJAAS. He is  a prolofic writer and contributes regularly on current issues impacting the society and academic communities. Dr Joshi has taught in NITIE, Mumbai, HN Bahuguna Garhwal Univrersity, India, Bilkent University, Turkey, University of Bahrain, University of Nairobi and Multimedia University, Malaysia, He has visited more than fifty countries in  connection with academic pursuits. He has also conducted a number of training courses in budgeting, IFRS and financial management topics.

Dr. Joshi has received several awards such as Hindi Ratan award, Sardar Patel International award, Rajiv Gandhi Excellence in Education award, MTC Distinghuished Teacher award, Gloden Globe Tigers award education leadership award.

Dr Joshi was born in Garhwal district of Uttarakhand and he obtained his education from Delhi University (B.Com and M.Com) and HN Bahuguna Garhwal University ( Ph.D). His childhood life was very struggling as he lost his
father at the age of seven years.

Bharat Nirman was inspired by LATE INDIRA GANDHI (EX PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA) and it was established in 1980 by Late M.C. Bhandari, the past President of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India . Since 1980, it has been bestowing due honors & felicitations to various talented  personalities & high end celebrities from various fields.
