Aman Arora, AAP MLA from Sunam , in a press conference held on Saturday in Chandigarh raised serious concerns over latest happenings in the case of sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji at Bargari in 2015 as State seems to be back to square one from where it started 4 years ago.

While raising the issue of closure report filed by CBI in 3 cases of sacrelige, Arora while saying that he was nobody to acquit or pronounce anybody innocent or guilty but what concerns him is that during this period of 4 years, the State Govt, it's police force , SIT, 2 Commissions and Central Premier Investigative Agency CBI has miserably failed to solve the cases and all other burning issues of the State , be it of farmers, youth unemployment, drugs , state's 2.5 lakh Cr debt, Industry, depleting groundwater etc have taken a back burner and previous as well as the present Congress govt. have been playing politics by exploiting the sentiments of people for their nafarious political motives.

Arora further added that apart from putting all the issues concerning State in the back burner , 3 people, Krishan Bhagwan Singh, Gurjit Singh and Mohinder pal Singh Bittu have lost their lives, and justice is nowhere to be seen in the near future.

Terming all the incidents in the last 4 years related to sacrelige and it's events thereafter as a collateral failure of the Governments and the justice delivery system as a whole, Arora expressed disappointment at the state of affairs and appealed to the State govt for early conclusion of the issue so that state can move forward to resolve other multiple important issues. Arora further added that it is highly unfortunate that an important issue concerning public sentiment and faith is being used as a tool to serve their political interests by the political parties and governments.
