The Senior Congress leader and Cabinet Minister, Punjab, S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has lashed out at the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Sukhbir Singh Badal for levelling allegations of most malicious nature against the Congress party MLAs on issue of drugs.

*Congress MLAs ready for probe anytime, anywhere*Before levelling false allegations on Congress, SAD President must look into Majithia's misdeeds*Those living in glass houses shouldn't throw stones at others

In a press communique here today, While reacting to some media reports in which the SAD President has said that the Congress MLAs are engaged in supply of drugs especially 'Chitta', the senior Congress leader S. Randhawa has retorted that the before levelling absolutely baseless and false allegations on the Congress party, the SAD President should introspect and look into the misdeeds committed by Bikram Singh Majithia who was notorious for giving shelter to the drug peddlers and being hand in glove with them thus ruining the youth of Punjab.

It is a stark reality which is known to everybody in every nook and corner of the State. He also said that the drugs was the only business to flourish under akalis and the most of the names figuring in various drug scams are of akalis.

Warning the SAD President to not indulge in mudslinging and taking politics to a new low, S. Randhawa said that the Congress party legislators are ready for probe anytime and anywhere. The Congress leader further added that let there be an independent investigation by a High Court judge into the acts of omission and commission committed during the decade long misrule of the erstwhile Akali Government infamous as 'Jijey Saale Di Sarkar' and compare it with the two and a half year tenure of the Congress Government in Punjab, the picture would be crystal clear.

The Congress leader also elaborated that the Congress Government not only broke the backbone of the drug mafia in the state, it had also put majority of the drug smugglers and dealers behind bars.

S. Randhawa also rooting for the STF report to be placed before the High Court reminded the SAD President that those who live in glass houses themselves should not throw stones at others. He also said that the day of reckoning is not too far off for SAD which would soon be consigned to the dustbin in near future.
