Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has launched an online service for registering faulty traffic light complaints wherein citizens can register faulty traffic light complaint by visiting https://www.gmda.gov.in and selecting “traffic light complaints” under Online Services.

While stating this today, an official spokesman said that one time registration is required before lodging complaint for which Name, Mobile Number and email id are required. He said that post one-time registration, user is required to input the location of faulty traffic light from dropdown menu of complaint form and submit the complaint.

On submission, the user gets the complaint acknowledgement reference number on their registered mobile number while the complaint gets routed to the resolvers including Onnyx (resolving agency), Call Centre and GMDA.

The turn-around time (TAT) to resolve the complaint is four hours from time of making complaint. Once the status of complaint changes from ‘Pending’ to ‘Resolved’, a SMS notification is sent to the registered mobile number of the complainant. This system will ensure a rapid and transparent complaint management system for faulty traffic lights in Gurugram, he added.
