WOMEN ORGANIZE PRE-KARVACHOUTH FUNCTION

A group of women of Chandigarh today organized Pre-Karvachouth Celebrations in Hotel Classic, Sector-35, Chandigarh. Hundreds of women participated in the function and participated in various events in connection with the Karvachouth function and Karvachouth celebration.

Sh. Satya Pal Jain, Ex MP and Additional Solicitor General of India and Sh. Davesh Moudgil, Ex Mayor were the Chief Guests on the occasion.

According to Mrs. Anamika Walia, the main organizer of the event, women participated in various events and they were given prizes by the organization and the winners of various competitions were distributed prizes by Sh. Jain and Sh. Moudgil.

The Gagan Banaspati Group sponsored the programme and distributed their products among the participants.

Among others, Dr. Prashant of Gagan Banaspati Group, Mrs. Anamika Walia, Mrs. Rama Matharu, Mrs. Renu Rishi Gautam, Mrs. Lata Giri, Mrs. Punam Jambal, Mrs Sharda, Mrs. Parvesh, Mrs. Purnima, Mrs. Paramjit, Mrs. Milly Garg and Ms. Sangita Pandey, were also present on this occasion.
