Congress state president, Kumari Selja has strongly condemned JJP's support for the BJP, calling it a betrayal with the voters of Haryana.

Kumari Selja said that 10 seats that the voters have given to the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) were a vote against the BJP vote rather than for the JJP itself, and now all those voters are feeling cheated today by the support of JJP to BJP.

She continued that the BJP has spoiled the brotherhood of Haryana for the sake of votes. The people recognized this and gave a befitting reply to the Bharatiya Janata Party in the assembly elections, but the naive people of the state could not recognize that the JJP had a tacit understanding with the Bharatiya Janata Party and acted as its B team and did not take any time to support BJP as soon as the election results came.

Kumari Selja said that Jananayak Janata Party had made many promises to the public. These included promises such as an allowance of Rs 11000 to the unemployed, 75 percent of the state's jobs reserved for the people of the state, old age pension of Rupees 5100 monthly. All these promises were also made by the Congress party. All promises were to be fulfilled as soon as the Congress Party formed the government. But by not taking care of public interest, Jananayak Janata Party has betrayed the voters of the state.
