NGO REMEMBERS PANDIT JAWAHARLAL NEHRU

At a function organised by Punjabi Sabhyachar Manch at the Greenland Public School near Uttam Vihar Colony in Nain Abadi here today, Chief Guest Neeraj Gaba Headmistress Govt Middle School Daulatpura, presiding officer Romesh Middha, Raj Sadosh president Lekhak Parishad, Dr Ramesh Verma ex Deputy Director Health Deptt, Ankur Garg ex president Aggarwal Yuva Sabha and host school vice principal Manpreet Kaur highlighted the sacrifice that Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru made in freedom movement.

They also enlightened the audience about the multifaceted progress that country achieved when Nehru Ji served as the first Prime Minister. His love for children gave him the nickname of Chacha Nehru, the dignitaries said. Manch president Gurcharan Singh Gill exhorted children to respect their parents and teachers. A colourful cultural programme was presented by students on the occasion of Children Day. Sweets and confectionary was distributed among the children.
